Transfer of Blog – no confirmation email is being sent

  I am trying to transfer my blog to another user as I am no longer afiliated with that blog. The problem is, when I go to transfer the blog, no confirmation email is being sent to my email address so that I can verify the transfer. Please help.

  Hi there, the first step would be to check your spam folder on the account j[…](email visible only to moderators and staff) – have you tried that?

  Let me know – if there is still nothing there, please let me know the WordPress.com username to which you’d like the http://hazelgreenbasketball.wordpress.com/ blog transferred.

  There is no email in the spam folder of my email account. I would like to transfer the Hazelgreenbasketball blog to the username toddjeffers.

  Thanks for the information. In addition to transferring ownership of the site, we can also remove you from the account and remap your previous posts to the new owner – would you like us to go ahead with that option?

  Yes, that would be good. Now just to make sure, I’m only doing this for hazelgreenbasketball blog. I will be keeping other blogs I currently own. The new owner of this blog will still be able to reup on the domain name hazelgreenbasketball.com, right?

  I’ve gone ahead and transferred ownership of hazelgreenbasketball.wordpress.com to toddjeffers, and remapped your previous posts to him as well.

  Now just to make sure, I’m only doing this for hazelgreenbasketball blog. I will be keeping other blogs I currently own.

  Correct – all your other blogs are untouched.

  The new owner of this blog will still be able to reup on the domain name hazelgreenbasketball.com, right?

  I’ve transferred the hazelgreenbasketball.com domain registration and mapping to toddjeffers, so he should be able to do the renewal. Please note that the domain upgrades expire on August 10, 2012.

  Just let us know if you need anything else.
