Transfer of .co.uk from tsohost

  I currently host on TSohost a .co.uk website, they are closing and suggest moving to WordPress. But WordPress does not host .co.uk websites. Any suggestions of how to proceed would be gratefully recieved.

  Hi there,

  We can absolutely host a website on a .co.uk domain on WordPress.com. But we cannot receive incoming domain transfers for .co.uk, so while you host your site with us at that domain, you cannot transfer the domain itself to us.

  To be clear, hosting just refers to whose servers your site’s files are stored on, and is something completely different from where your domain is registered.

  So you’ll need to transfer your domain to another provider, like GoDaddy.com or Namecheap.com, but then you can point the domain to us to connect it to a WordPress.com site using our domain mapping upgrade:
