Transfer of content to new account

  We had a paid for account http://www.sherlockholmeswelshpool.com but our founder in whose name it was registered died and did not renew so it is now a free account with the WordPress name in it. I am the editor. However, I have created a new free account with a slightly shorter name which I wish to become a paid for account but with the old content transferred to it. Unfortunately no-one knows the old account administrators password. How can this be achieved?

  Hey @iancorke,

  Your site sherlockholmeswelshpool.com is using the self-hosted version of WordPress.

  These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only :) https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  However, if you have access to your hosting, then you can easily reset or create a new admin user.
