transfer of domain

  Hi Support

  I have a domain registered at Wix.com and am experiencing problems with website crashing since May 2019 which is resulting in my request to change from Wix to Word Press

  I tried transferring to WordPress but it only allows me to map the domain …. I do not understand how to map

  Please could I be assisted

  Hello

  If you need to use a custom domain, you have the Domain mapping option:

  However, the options require that you have the personal plan added to your account. For more details about that please refer this: https://wordpress.com/plans/

  Also, make sure that your domain is registered at your current host for at least 60 days.

  Hi there,

  Incoming domain transfers are temporarily disabled due to ongoing maintenance. For now, please go with the domain mapping option, and once we re-enable transfers next week you should be able to transfer the domain to us at no additional cost.
