  • Hey there,

Adding an already bought domain to your WordPress.com account is called “domain mapping”. You will need an upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site in order to map a domain. Each paid plan comes with a free domain credit you can use to either register a new domain or map one you already own. You can map as many additional domains to the same site as you would like, but you have to pay for additional mapping upgrades separately. Here are our premium plans: https://wordpress.com/pricing

For more details on how to map a domain, please refer to this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

    Thanks!

    Hi there!

One thing you can do is map your existing domain to your site. This means that when visitors arrive at your website, they can see your WordPress.com content but see your domain name in their browser. You’ll need an upgraded WordPress.com plan to map your domain. To know more about domain mapping, you can read this support document about that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

You can also set up your domain name to redirect to your WordPress.com address. To do that, you’ll need to contact your domain registrar and set it up with them.

    I hope that helps!
