  I purchased a domain name and hosted it on another site but want to continue my website creation on WordPress. How do I go about it? Any cost implications?

  Since you’ve already purchased a domain name you’ll need a WordPress.com paid plan to be able to initiate a Domain Mapping. You can see the available WordPress.com plans and pricing here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
