Transfer of domain name to wordpress

  I currently own the domain name rootingandfruiting.co.uk but it’s with Moonfruit after buying it from 123.reg.co.uk and transferring it. Moonfruit is terrible and I want to transfer and create a wordpress website with this domain. How do i do this so I can get started? Moonfruit have not returned my queries about transfer and I’m confused which approach to take when signing up to a new blog on wordpress.

  WordPress.COM is not set up for incoming domain name transfers. You can use the domain name for a blog on WordPress.COM but the name must be registered not at WordPress.COM, many registrars out there

  to use your own domain name with a blog here you need to Domain Map your domain name to a blog here, the blog here does not need to match the domain name you own (but I think is has more class if the names match)
