Transfer of domain not working

  I transferred our bushsandandsea.co.nz domain from an Australian agent to WordPress.com and have been hosting under a premium package including domain. We are moving to WordPress.org hosted by Bluehost but I am having trouble transferring the domain. One forum article kindly explains it but the ‘transfer domain’ button is missing. Perhaps due to the two MX settings that were mistakenly left by the transfer in of the domain (…netregistry.com.au)? I tried deleting them to hopefully open up the transfer domain button but it’s not saving the changes. Please help!! I have Bluehost set up, a theme purchased and just need to transfer the domain to get started. Thanks!

  Hi there,

  Please note that we are not your domain’s registrar. You only purchased a domain mapping which allowed you to host your domain with us. You can see here that your registrar is Freeparking:

  http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/results.jsp?domain=bushsandandsea.co.nz

  Please contact them and they can update your nameservers to Bluehost.

  I have disabled the auto-renewal since you will not need the Premium or domain mapping anymore.

  Thank you so much! It’s funny because it isn’t clear looking at each system’s dashboard who actually does what for us. I even ran a WHOIS separate to yours and didn’t find freeparking.co.nz! Thank you for clearing this up and will do as suggested.
