Transfer of Domain To Self Hosted Account

    Good Afternoon,

    I’ve followed the procedures in relation to transferring my domain (www.hollycarpenterblog.com) to a hosting provider. I’ve setup the account with them, however when I try to transfer it I receive the following error message:

    “Could not issue transfer: Unable to process transfer for hollycarpenterblog.com: Object status prohibits operation. –The domain you are trying to transfer to LetsHost, an authorized SoftLayer Technologies, Inc. service provider, may be locked at the current registrar WILD WEST DOMAINS, LLC. Please contact the current registrar WILD WEST DOMAINS, LLC to verify it and try again.”

    Could you please advise if there is anything else I need to do to move it?

    Hi Holly,

    ICANN, the corporation responsible for regulating all domain registrations, prohibits anyone from transferring a domain until 60 days after registration or transfer. If you registered or transferred your domain within the last 60 days, you won’t be able to transfer your domain successfully until this waiting period is over.

    The waiting period for hollycarpenterblog.com will end on 6/23/2013.
