Transfer of email subscriptions
-
I have recently gone self-hosted (mumturnedmom.wordpress.com to mumturnedmom.com) and I have followed the instructions for WordPress.com to self-hosted site, the last of which is:
4. Once your Jetpack is connected and ready to go, and you’ve informed your readers about your upcoming move, contact us and we’ll move your subscribers for you. But, the ‘contact us’ link doesn’t give me anyone to contact!
How do I initiate the transfer of my email subscribers?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

A staff here can do that for you. I’ve tagged this post so they can take a look and complete the transfer. Please be patient while waiting :)

I have transferred your WordPress.com subscribers and email followers as requested.
Please note that any WordPress.com followers who opted to receive email updates will need to re-subscribe again on your new site through the Jetpack signup box, otherwise they’ll only see new posts in their Reader. Non-WordPress.com email subscribers will continue to get email updates.
You might think about setting up a Site Redirect for your WordPress.com site at mumturnedmom.wordpress.com to send your site visitors to your new domain. Otherwise, people will still be able to subscribe on your old site.
Please let me know if you would also like to merge your stats from your WordPress.com site with your new self-hosted site.

Thank you very much!
I have tried to do a site redirect and it says that I cannot redirect to mumturnedmom.com …?
I didn’t know that you could merge stats, that would be fantastic – thank you :)

I’ve just merged your stats for you.
For the redirect, if you go to your WordPress.com Dashboard for your site, you can purchase the Site Redirect upgrade here:
https://mumturnedmom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.phpFrom there, it should walk you through the steps to set up the redirect. If you run into problems, please post the specific error you’re getting, or even better, take a screenshot of the page where you get an error message and upload that image to your blog’s media library so I can take a look.

Thank you again!
I’m not sure what the problem was yesterday, but I just tried the redirect again and it was fine, so all set up now :)
Thank you for all your help.
