Transfer of Stats
-
Hi there.
I have installed a self hosted version of wordpress. I have connected via jetpack, exported and imported and transferred subscribers.
I would like to transfer my stats.
The original site is ntnoway.wordpress.com
the new self hosted site is ntnoway.com
I believe from reading a different thread that this needs to be done from the wordpress end and can’t be done myself.
Thanks. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Moving stats requires a staff member. I have marked this topic for their review. Please subscribe to the topic by clicking the link on the right so you can be notified of their response.

Good deal. Just thought I’d give you a heads up in case you were unclear. Perhaps whoever entered it will see the post.

Hi There! My name is marina and I own http://www.venturful.com
I used to own http://www.tworoastedcanadians.com, but I moved to a different blog! Could you please transfer my old stats to my new blog?
Thank you so much :)

In order to do that, you will need to connect your new site via Jetpack:
-
I did connect my site to Jetpack. I got my comments back but I didn’t get any of my 20,000+ views or anything back from my previous blog! ))):
Any way you can help me out?

I have gotten my comments back from importing/exporting my old site, got all the tags, but it seems like WordPress staff themselves have to transfer the stats.
-
The account you are posting from does not have a jetpack site associated with it. In order to migrate subscribers or stats, the old site and the new jetpack connected site must be on the same WordPress.com user account.
-
I accidentally logged into Jetpack with my old admin and account. Can I change the login settings for Jetpack?

staff-ozmodiar I do not see this reflected in my dashboard ): Do you see the venturful.com stats from two roasted canadians? On that I had like ~20,000 views

In all honesty, I do not see that you anything more than a handful of views on https://tworoastedcanadians.wordpress.com/ (which your WordPress.com user account owns). As you can see for yourself:
https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?blog=70905992
It appears that tworoastedcanadians.com was actually connected to http://tworoastedcanadiansdotcom.wordpress.com/ which is owned by a different WordPress.com user account.
In order to migrate stats or users, you need to have jetpack connected to the account that owns the original WordPress.com account. And you need to use that account to make any migration requests.
I feel like you might have had things set up correctly in the beginning, but used the incorrect account to make the request here in this thread.
Hope this all makes sense. Let me know if it does not.
