Transfer of web from go daddy to wordpress

    Hi How easy it to transfer over from go daddy to wordpress? do i have to input all my content over ?

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    Hey there!

    It should be a relatively easy process to transfer from GoDaddy to WordPress.com if you’re hosting a WordPress.org website on GoDaddy.

    There’s an export tool on your WP dashboard that you can use to download all of your current website content. Check out this link for reference: https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/tools-export-screen/

    From there, once you’ve exported and downloaded the XML file with all your content, you can import it into your WordPress.com website.

    After that, your content should have been transferred successfully.
