Transfer of website

  Hi I want to sign up but want to know if I will ever be able to fully transfer my site to wordpress (is there a configuration I need to do on the other provider) or will I only be able to keep it connected?

  You also could transfer or connect your current domain to wordpress.com

  You would need a paid plan to be able to use your current website on wordpress.com

  With domain transfer to WordPress.com, you can manage everything from one place, including your payments. Each domain comes with an SSL certificate which is a big relief in terms of security.

  Please note that if you plan to move to WordPress.com, your domain transfer is free with one of the paid plans with the addition of a free year of registration.

  With Connect your domain to WordPress.com, If you manage several domains through one company, and intend to keep them all together in one place then it makes sense to just “connect” the domain to the WordPress.com site.
