Transfer old .com posts to new .org website's blog
-
I’ve had a .com blog for over a year and recently went live with a .org webite. I want to transfer the old .com blog posts to my new site, but don’t need the full Guided transfer as I’ve already installed the .org software (obviously, since the site is live) and configured Jetpack (at least I think I’ve done everything I need with it). I also don’t need the entire site transferred since I have an about page on my new site (and that’s the only other page on my .com blog). I went live with the .org website last month (Dec, 2012) and have made 5 posts to it so far, which I also posted to the .com blog. I don’t think I need the domain transfer since I obviously have a domain – unless I’m not understanding what “switching your domain(s) over” really entails. Is what I want possible? Can I do a guided transfer “lite” (even if I have to pay full price)?? Thanks.
