  whats the most seamless way to transfer or connect to my domain?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hi there,

  If you want to use the domain here on WordPress.com, first create a new site at https://wordpress.com/start/site/

  To use your own domain you’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan, and then you can either transfer your domain registration to us, or you can leave the domain at your current provider while just connecting it here:

  https://wordpress.com/en/support/domain-connection-vs-domain-transfer/

  If you buy an annual plan, the first domain transfer or registration is free. If you buy a monthly plan, transferring or registering a domain costs extra.

  Simply connecting a domain registered elsewhere is included for as many domains as you want on all paid plans, both monthly and annual.
