transfer or connect to domain?

  Hi, i want to make a practice website to learn how to make a website.
  I have on draft site already https://thinktankclimate.wordpress.com/ that i made for dropping the content inside. And i have a payed one https://www.thinktankclimate.com/ this one is to create the layout and everything. But i think i need to practice working with wordpress first. But it asks if i want to transfer or connect? The domain is a self-hosting on one.com. One.com is already of wordpress? So its okay to do transfer?

  I have figured out this is not really to make a try out website alone. I would lose the self-host and move into a hosted by wordpress. Don’t wanna do that just yet. :)
