  Hi
  I do have a domain address (but no website yet). What is the advantage of staying with my current provider versus bringing it all over to Worldpress

  If you want to use an existing domain on handsoncreative.wordpress.com, there are two options:

  Domain mapping

  • The domain remains registered with your current provider.
  • The process creates a connection between the domain and WordPress.com.
  • The domain will need to be renewed through your current provider each year.

  Transferring the domain

  • The domain can be renewed through WordPress.com each year (after transfer).
  • The domain and handsoncreative.wordpress.com can be managed through one account.
