Transfer other blog questions and answers from forum?
-
I helped to create a blog for someone else and I got a lot of invaluable information from you all in the forums. Is there a way to transfer that information of questions and answers to my blog site here, so I can refer to it quickly, if need be?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No. You can subscribe to all threads you post here. There is an RSS feed in the sidebar for that. But you cannot “transfer information” from these forums to your blog. You must return to the thread to see what answers you receive to your questions.
-
P.S. There’s also a link you can click in the sidebar to make ta thread a “favorite”. You can access any threads you mark as favorites and all threads you post to on your forum profile page by clicking the “Welcome, ediblemissionproject” at the top of the forum.

I clicked on “Add this topic to your favorites” and it said it was added, but when I clicked on my “Welcome, ediblemissionproject” and then clicked on “favorites” there, it said that I had no favorites.

Actually, when I put the exact title in the search window to find the topic that I initially inquired on in the other blog I mentioned above, it doesn’t show now for 3 of them that I am trying to find to put as favorites. How come?

Don’t use the search box. Click “member” under your name https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/ediblemissionproject

in order to pull up the topic in the forum to add to my favorites, don’t I need to get it up on the forum first? I tried to search for a couple of them when working in another site that I helped to put together, and I was only able to find a couple of them in which I was able to add them to my favorites. These topics are not accessible by clicking on my ediblemissionproject. They are only accessible via the other site that I am turning over to someone else, so I want to save those topics that I was helped with. It is like moving on to another blog that I am starting, and I want to take this topic of help with me, but I am not able to find it in the forum search on the other site I am starting. But I would like to refer to it, so I would want to put it in my favorites. But I can’t find it in the search, so how do I get it into my favorites. Maybe that explained it better as I am not very articulate at this point since I am sick with a bad cold.

If you take a look at the avatar beside your forum post, the green patchwork, beside it you’ll see your username, ediblemissionproject, and below that the word Member. That word Member is a link; click on it and you will see all your posts.

Exactly, and you can find them by using Google as well.
search string > ediblemissionproject site:wordpress.com

Which other site are you referring to please?
Do you have another wordpress.com username account?
What do you mean by “turning over”?
Are you referring to transferring a blog to another user or another username account as described here? http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account -
Thanks Raincoaster and Timethief, what you posted really helped and I was able to figure it out.

Your welcome. I don’t get to work on my blog everyday and this week I am battling a major head cold–the big blah that has been going around. Thanks again.
