  I am starting a website building company for local businesses in my area. I want to build their websites on my WordPress and then transfer ownership to their account. How would I go about this or what alternatives are there

  Hello there,

  There are a couple of approaches for this. You could start the site and select an appropriate hosting plan based on the site requirements, or you could have the customer create the site and purchase the hosting plan, then invite you to the site.

  Transfering site between accounts:

  Is https://monstudios.wordpress.com/ going to be the site you build your agency website on? With a hosting plan, you can connect a custom domain. A plan can get added from Plans > Upgrades.

  Each site requires its own plan but you can have multiple sites under the same account. Also, annual hosting plans come with the domain free for the first year.

  Do you have plans to let customers pay for your services directly on the site or require any other features besides showing information about your agency and having them fill out a form to contact you?
