transfer ownership of a defunct blog from an unknown user to me.

  Another user already has the blog name that i want. It has been over seven years since their one and only post.

  Is it possible to have their blog transferred to me? Or delete their blog so that I can claim the url? The blog’s url is https://fakeittilyoumakeit.wordpress.com/

  Afraid not. WordPress will never take a blog from one user and give it to another, the person who established it owns it unless they decide to pass it on to you.

  You could make a comment on the blog letting them know that you would like to use it and see if they’ll transfer it, but apart from that you are out of luck.

  Oh, and if you ask them to delete it so you can have the URL you are in even more trouble, a deleted URL is never recycled, it will be gone forever.
