Transfer ownership of my blog

  I am planning to invite another WordPress blogger to take over my blog. Currently, I am the Administrator and there are no other Users.

  I wish to keep my Gravatar account.

  What sort of invitation should I issue to that blogger, eg Editor, Administrator, Author?

  In this handover process, what personal details should I keep on the blog to help me keep my Gravatar account active, and also to permanently make it the new owner’s? I will be giving them my current login password and username, so that they can access the dashboard.

  I need to transfer ownership of a wordpress.com blog but don’t want my posts to automatically become associated with the new owner as author. Is that possible?
