Transfer ownership won’t even initiate after clicking button
-
As I am not administering this website anymore I want to transfer to another account of the new administrator. I’m logged in and viewing “Sites”. I click on “Actions” (3 dots) and select “Leave Site” then see a popup Leave Site: You are the owner blablabla – I select “Transfer ownership” but see only a sort of page refresh and the same screen reappearing. Nothing happens! I did try clearing the browser cache and then saw an error notification “can’t access property “manage_options”, e.capabilities is undefined”. Tried various browsers to no avail.
Maybe this has been asked before but I saw so many results on the subject of Transfer of ownership that it would take weeks to read them all.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I completely understand your frustration with this issue, but I’ve checked and your website isn’t hosted with WordPress.com, but self-hosted at WordPress.org. You can understand better this difference here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/.
So, you can contact your hosting provider by the link below for direct suport with your website.
I hope that helps :)

Hi there @zescoupe the instructions for transferring ownership of a WordPress.com website wouldn’t be relevant for you as your WordPress site isn’t hosted here, as @lucasbinati mentioned.
I did a quick internet search for “How to transfer a WordPress site to a new owner” and found this result in the open source WordPress.org community forums https://wordpress.org/support/topic/changing-ownership-of-a-wp-site/ It also recommends contacting your current hosting provider.
Additionally, to change the owner of your Jetpack connection, this guide may also be helpful https://jetpack.com/support/transfer-your-jetpack-connection-or-plan-to-another-user/
