  Hello, I wanted to know if I transfer my domain to WordPress, will I be paying WordPress yearly fees?

  Many thanks for reaching out.

  That’s correct, if you were to transfer the domain WordPress.com would become the domain registrar at that point, and you would pay the domain registration fee to WordPress.com.

  You can leave the domain where it is and map the domain for free with a plan as well. Please see how this can be done there: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
