Transfer secondary blog from my WordPress blogger to another WordPress blogger

  I have tried five times in vain, to transfer a blog to another WordPress account holder. It just refuses to happen, no matter how many times I check that huge red box that tells me “if I check this box, you will never have access to that blog again”. I get the email, and I’m taken back to my own dashboard, where, I see nothing happened, the site I’m trying to transfer hasn’t left!!! What is going on??? Please help me complete this transaction. Thank you. It’s a secondary blog I created, not my main one.

  Correction: The blog I am trying to transfer is christieturner.wordpress.com, a secondary blog (and NOT gotstorycountdown.wordpress.com, which is my primary one). Please advise. I am at my wit’s end…

  Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and associated email address. You need to contact the blog’s owner and have him transfer the blog to you or at least make you an Admin of the site.

  Below is what the blog’s owner must do.

  You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased any upgrades to renew them or transfer the blogs and the upgrades to another username account.

  To transfer a blog from one username account A to another username account B you must first log in under the username account A that owns the blog you want to transfer to the other username account.

  Then you add the other username account B as an Admin of the blog.

  user roles http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/

  Then you A can use this process to transfer the blog to that username account B instead http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

  Hi @gotstorycountdown – It doesn’t look like you’re a user on the blog christieturner.wordpress.com any longer. Can you let me know if you were able to successfully transfer this blog to the other user?
