OK,
This is the wordpress primary account where my site is linked to:
http://www.photobubblecompany.com/home/This is my site linked with the above, which I would like to unlink
http://www.theancestral.com/This is MY wordpress.com user account
https://wordpress.com/stats/oneheartdance.wordpress.comI realize that since I am self hosted I should go with wordpres.org …
But for now if I can have my site unlinked from this account:
http://www.photobubblecompany.com/home/I did create a wp….org account, but not clear if I should be seeing account/site info there or not or if I will need to transfer wp…com sites to wp….org site
Thank you,
Peggy

I did not give url, since I thought a admin user would be able to remove a linked site. This is not possible? or I need to go thrugh this service to unlink a site?
Just want to know incase something like this happens in the future.
Thank you,
Peggy

I meant as the admin (myself) I was under the impression I should be able to a remove linked site. Therefore I was expecting instructions, BUT I did send links to sites in subsequent posts at your request.

Yes, I know you gave us the URL. You said you didn’t understand why you had to do that. It’s because staff have to do it.

yes, I now understand that this is something I cannot do myself , just seems like this is something an admin to a wp user account should be able to do. I will make sure to NEVER post to a wrong account again! sorry for the hassle… yours and mine… with a wink :)

Can you let me know the status of this?. I went to the clients (where I accidentally linked my site) wordpress.com account. I see the site theancestral.com still linked in their account BUT it has a red triangle with exclamation mark.
What needs to be done to have it gone from their wordpress.com user account? I see it as a linked site from the dashboard here: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogsThank you…

Hi Peggy,
To transfer a self-hosted WordPress blog (linked with Jetpack) from one WordPress.com account to another, you’ll need to log in to that self-hosted blog’s dashboard.
In the Jetpack section of the self-hosted blog’s dashboard, you can disconnect Jetpack from your WordPress.com account. Then, the correct admin can connect Jetpack to their WordPress.com account (again, from the Jetpack section of the blog’s dashboard).
That will make it appear as a linked site when the correct admin logs in to their WordPress.com account. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
