  I can’t find the “WordPress Site Settings” section in my General section

  WP.com: Yes
  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

  Hi @rosalin000,

  It sounds like you are using WordPress.com (not Jetpack/self-hosted), so the “Site Settings” section may appear differently depending on the plan or the dashboard view you are using. Here are a few things you can try:

  1. Check if you’re on the correct dashboard
     • Go to https://wordpress.com/home/ and select your site from the top-left menu.
     • From there, navigate to Settings → General. Sometimes the “Site Settings” label is simplified or moved under “General” depending on updates.
  2. Switch to WP-Admin view
     • Append /wp-admin to your site URL (example: yoursite.wordpress.com/wp-admin).
     • Then go to Settings → General. You should see options for Site Title, Tagline, Timezone, etc.
  3. Clear cache or try a different browser
     • Sometimes WordPress.com updates don’t reflect properly because of cached data. Try refreshing with Ctrl+Shift+R (hard reload) or open in a private/incognito window.
  4. Check your plan limitations
     • On some free/basic WordPress.com plans, certain advanced “Site Settings” options may be hidden or restricted. If that’s the case, you’ll need to upgrade your plan to unlock those.
  5. Still missing?
     • If none of the above works, you can share a screenshot (without personal info) of what you see under “General” → “Settings” so the community can guide you more accurately.

  I am on the correct page, but cannot transfer … only leave or delete.
