  Hello,
  My site: http://www.afitmess.com was through WP.org and hosted with Siteground. Last week I cancelled my site Siteground and afitmess.com account is suspended. Is it possible to go back to a WP.com site and still map my domain back? I don’t want to have to pay a fee for anything, but I’m not sure if this is possible. Can anyone assist?

  To map a domain name you already own to your blog/site at WP.com, you will need a paid plan upgrade (at least Personal plan).
