Transfer Site Registration

  I am building a website for a federal government entity. By regulation, my final product must be hosted on the .mil domain. Is it possible to transfer a wordpress generated site to .mil using the same process as transferring to another .com registrar?

  While WordPress.com cannot be the registrar for a .mil domain, they can host sites on said domains. You will first need to have the .mil domain registered, and then you can find information on how to map a domain to your site by going here:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  Note that you’ll need a WordPress.com Premium or Business plan to map the domain to your site.
