Transfer Site Stats to Independently Hosted Blog
-
Hey there!
A few months ago I moved my blog Beat That Backlog (beatthatbacklog.wordpress.com) from WordPress.com to Bluehost (now simply beatthatbacklog.com). I am still using the WordPress plugin for the site. I thought that my old site stats would transfer over to it when I installed Jetpack, but it still doesn’t appear that it’s doing it automatically. Can anyone help me out with this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Matthew,
I have merged the stats from beatthatbacklog.wordpress.com to beatthatbacklog.com as requested.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!

Hi Matthew,
How did you merge the stats? Or is it something that only staff members can do?Thanks
-
You need to install and activate the Jetpack plugin first http://jetpack.me and then Staff will migrate your stats for you.

Hi darnelldibbles, the merge worked perfectly! I have all of my site stats from before. Thank you so much for your prompt response, I’m so relieved the staff can do this for people!
zedvideo, as the others mentioned, install and activate the Jetpack plugin on your blog. Then create a new topic here with the tags “migrate stats” and “modlook” (so that it gets a mod’s attention) plus both URLs.
It appears that only staff members can perform the merge, but their response was very prompt and professional.

I wasn’t sure if it could only be done by a staff member. Now I know…and knowing is half the battle.
Thanks neutybooty and timethief!

Thanks!
