Transfer site to another owner

I created a website for a friend using my account, but adding her as an administrator. I want to transfer ownership of the website completely to her now. It used to be listed in My Blogs, and I tried using the instructions in the WP forum but I am still receiving emails from the website’s Contact page. What do I do?

I found the directions you linked to earlier, but the process didn’t work because there was no “Transfer Blog” link that appeared when I hovered over that area of the page. I have a few other WP sites on that account and the “Transfer Blog” link appeared for the rest of them. The only highlighted link I could click on for the lucycolquhoun.info site was “Leave Blog”, so I clicked on that. I sent a test email through the website’s contact page, hoping it would be sent to Lucy now that I no longer had access, but the contact form still came to my email address. ???

Honestly it looks like you may have already transferred ownership to her? Everything I see on the account seems to be connected to her.
Can you let us know the subject of the email you received about her site, and when you received it? That’d help us track this down.
Also, can you confirm your address is the one listed in the “to” address? Just in case she’s auto-forwarded it.

Lucy owns the website, but she added me as an administrator in September 2015 so I could build it. For some reason I have been receiving all of the Contact form messages in my inbox. After I clicked the link to “Leave the Blog” the other day, I did not receive any emails from WordPress.

Got it, so you had transferred the site, but you were likely still listed as the author of that page until you left the site.
Is she getting the contact emails now?

No, that is the problem – they are all going to my account. Is there something that she needs to change on her end?
