Transfer South African domain to WordPress

  I have a client who has an existing domain in South Africa – she wants me to use WordPress to design her website but wants to use the same domain – what is the procedure we must follow to ensure that the same domain is transferred to WordPress and what will the annual fee be to host her domain on WordPress?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.COM can’t accept domain transfers into their system – you can map your domain to a blog here

  U.S – $ 13.– / year for mapping – $ 30.– / year if you want the no ads upgrade.

  Be sure and read the terms of service before the transfer – the rules here are more restrictive than self hosted – n e-commerce and you can’t sell ads on your blog
