Is it possible to transfer my stats for my blog, blog.strahan-family.com, from the WordPress servers to my server? I want to detach this blog from my WordPress account.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I see that you have the self-hosted site blog.strahan-family.net. Is that what you mean?
Let me know which stats you want transferred over. Please note that we are the support stats at WordPress.com.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities. At WordPress.com, we provide hosting, support, and tons of features for blogs. Users also have the option to purchase a variety of upgrades to customize the look and feel of their blog. WordPress.org is a software for self-hosted sites. With WordPress.org, users are provided access to all backend files and can upload custom themes and plugins.

I can merge your stats from WordPress.com with your self-hosted site if you enable the Jetpack plugin. Let me know the WordPress.com and self-hosted site that you want to merge the stats for. I can then get this done from you promptly.
Cheers!

Well, I am not sure exactly what it is that I need. I am a bit confused about where my stats actually live. Let me give you a little background. I started with a WordPress.com site (proverbs311.wordpress.com). But then I moved it to a self hosted site at 1and1.com using my own domain name, blog.strahan-family.net. I am currently using JetPack, but it requires me to log into my WordPress.com account to see stats even though my site is no longer at WordPress.com. That just seems weird. I don’t understand that, and I have been a web developer for 21 years. I am trying to get away from JetPack and have everything self contained at my own self-hosted site. I know there are other stat plugins out there like SlimStat & WP-Stats, but they do not show all of my old stats. They only show stats starting from the day the plugin was activated. Is there a way that I can use SlimStat and still retain all of my existing stats?
Thank you,

Hi Lance,
I see what you mean. Yes, the stats only start from when you activated the plugin, so what I can do is merge your previous stats from proverbs311.wordpress.com with your new self-hosted site. Please note that you would have to keep Jetpack to view these stats.
If you would like to use another stat plugin that is fine, but we wouldn’t be able to merge your WordPress.com/Jetpack stats with a 3rd party plugin.
Let me know if you would like those stats merged!
