Transfer stats again
-
Hi,
I have two different sites representing a transferred WP install and its archive. The live one is hosted at http://www.themedium.ca and the archive at 2012.themedium.ca.
The install at 2012 was the only one till a few months ago. Around the start of September, I moved it to 2012.themedium.ca, made a new install at www, and imported all the posts from the old one to the new one. I’m keeping the install at 2012 as an archive of the old design, with the “discourage search engines from indexing this site” setting turned on.
On your end, therefore, notice that the stats for the 2012 one go back to August 2012, but the stats for the www one only start at around September 2014. But www has all the same posts as 2012 (plus new ones since September), so it would be ideal to have their stats histories intact.
Is there a way to merge the stats from the two installs, such that the www install shows the stats all the way from August 2012 to the present?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

P.S. Note that from the time the www install starts tracking stats, I don’t care about preserving the 2012.themedium.ca stats (it has gotten a tiny trickle since September 2014 when i retired it).

Sure? The stats are through Jetpack on one install and the ancient WordPress.com Stats plugin on another, both of which still give messages like “View your stats on WordPress.com right now” — and another transfer on the same domain, with WP.org installs, was done for me after I posted here earlier.

Yeah, trust me we get dozens literally dozens of inquiries about Jetpack here every day and there is NOTHING we can do to help you. I don’t know why they say that. You can go to http://jetpack.me for help.
