Transfer stats from self-host to another self-host

    Hi,
I am moving my self-hosted wordpress install from a godaddy.com hosted site to a digital ocean droplet.
I have managed to import settings, themes, media and posts without any trouble but I would like to be able to keep my stats as well.
Do I need to publicly publish my DNS settings, or is there somewhere else I could send that to ask for the stats to be migrated?
    Thanks for your help.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • So, I would recommend is disconnecting Jetpack on both of your sites. Then, get everything transferred over to the new site (including your domain name pointing to the new site).

Then, after everything is transferred then reconnect Jetpack. As long as the domain name stays the same, then your stats should be reunited once you reconnect.

    Thanks rootjosh,
I’ll give it a go and report back if I have trouble
