Transfer stats from wordpress.com to self hosted.

  Hi guys!

  I started a thread in the wrong forum ..haha…and then a friendly user told me this was the right forum.

  I would like to have my stats and subscribers transfered from my wordpress.com to my self-hosted site.

  http://multicorechina.wordpress.com
  to
  http://multicorechina.com

  Is it possible?

  Provided you install and activate the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and provide the relevant URL(s), then Staff will do the transfer of subscribers and stats for you. Please do that now so it’s ready for Staff to make the transfer.

  Your WordPress.com subscribers and email followers have been transferred as requested.

  Please note that any WordPress.com followers who opted to receive email updates will need to re-subscribe again on your new site through the Jetpack signup box, otherwise they’ll only see new posts in their Reader. Non-WordPress.com email subscribers will continue to get email updates.

  You might think about setting up a Site Redirect for your WordPress.com site at 55808054 to send your site visitors to your new domain. Otherwise, people will still be able to subscribe on your old site.

  Just one more question…

  My domain (.com) is still hosted at Wild West Domains, cause I bought this option together with the WHOIS private registration..so the redirection from multicorechina.wordpress.com is still working until July 2014…

  I don’t get what you mean sorry…it has been a very long day for me.

  Can you throw some light on this issue?

  Hi there,

  Sorry for the confusion.

  If you keep the same domain, it will redirect until your domain mapping expires. At that time, you can either transfer your domain registrar or you can renew the domain and mapping with us.
