I have recently switched my WP.com blog to WP.org. I am waiting for Jetpack to transfer my followers and I was wondering if you could help me transfer my old stats.
My old site: withallmyaffection.com (WP.com)
My new site: withallmyaffection.com (WP.org)Thank you!

Thank you!
I have another small question.
All my followers and my stats have been transferred to my new blog but it seems that some comments and all my likes on my posts are missing. Do you know how we can transfer those as well?
Should I e-mail Jetpack or can we transfer those here on WP? -
Hi Arielle,
Thanks for the follow up :)
Likes from a WordPress.com site are not able to be transferred to a Jetpack site.
However, if you’ve exported from a WordPress.com site, and imported into a WordPress.org site, your comments should have moved. Make sure that you exported your WordPress.com content using the following instructions:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/export/Making sure you’ve exported ALL content from WordPress.com and imported to your WordPress.org site should do the trick.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks much!

Oh perfect thank you!
I have a last question (so sorry I have so many) but I still get some followers on my old blog (WP.com) and I was wondering how I can make sure that the new followers are subscribing to my WP.org instead of the old one?
I am not sure how they can even subscribe to the old one as my website is now redirected to the new platform – is it via WP reader? And can automatically transfer the new follows or should I e-mail Jetpack every month to transfer these as well?
Thank you so much for your help!

Hey again!
While your email subscribers will continue to receive email notifications of new posts as before, WordPress.com followers will only see new posts in the Reader. They will not receive email updates unless they subscribe to receive those on your new site.
When visitors go to http://withallmyaffection.com/, they will be taken immediately to your self-hosted site, so there shouldn’t be any confusion for them. Since all your visitors will be going to withallmyaffection.com, there won’t be new subscribers to withallmyaffection.wordpress.com. Therefore, you won’t have to transfer them again.
Hope that clears things up! If not, drop me a note! Thanks :)

Ah ok – thanks :)
And finally, I just published a post on my new WP.org blog but it doesn’t seem to appear on the reader of my WP.com. Is there a way to make sure that my future posts will appear in the reader/homepage of WP.com?
Most of my followers normally see my posts there and I don’t want them to miss out on my future posts!
Thank you!

Hey Arielle,
If you want posts from your WordPress.org site to be displayed in your reader, here, then you must follow your own site. Have you done this yet?
I followed your WordPress.org site as an experiment, and your post does appear in my reader:
https://cloudup.com/cV0Gyso-D4hYour followers should see the same if they’ve followed http://withallmyaffection.com/.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks much!

Oh I understand. It just showed up!
Do you know how I can add pictures to my posts in the Reader as well? When I was on WP.com they would automatically show up in the reader but now they don’t (I have a picture in my post and put a featured image also). It only shows the title and the first text part of my blog post.
Thank you so much Robyn for all your help! I’m sorry I am asking so many questions.

Hi Arielle,
It sounds as if you may need to add a plugin on your WordPress.org site to add your images to your RSS feed. I googled and found this one for you:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/add-image-to-rss-feed/Your WordPress.org site won’t add the image automatically as your WordPress.com site did.
You may wish to research a bit further, or post the question on the WordPress.org support forum:
https://wordpress.org/support/I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!
