Transfer Stats to Self-Hosted
-
I have merged the stats of your WordPress.com and self-hosted blogs.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Hi there – I had 2 wordpress.com blogs and only one transferred. I also need mei2016website.wordpress.com to transfer. Thank you so much!!

Stats migration will only work perfectly if your post ID’s match between your WordPress sites. If the IDs do not match, a single post will end up as two (or perhaps 3 in your case) different posts in your stats. One will be the stats for the old ID and one the new. The stats cannot be combined unless the IDs are the same.
But given the multiple site nature of this request, it is something that cannot be undone once we merge.
Please confirm that you understand this and I will proceed with the merge with your okay.
Thanks!

Hi there,
it is not the literal post number as in the 7th post has a post ID of 7. It’s the unique identification number of a post under your particular blog. So, if the post IDs are different, you may have three of the same posts with three different IDs.

Hi there – I think I am good with the post ID’s; the sites are basically identical as I exported/imported everything from one site to another. So I just need mei2016website.wordpress.com’s stats to be transferred to my new, self-hosted site. Thanks!

Hi! I guess I should open a new thread with my own issue as usual in the wp forums but as it seems some people requested help here with success and hasn’t been advised to start their own thread, I’ll reuse this as it seems very appropiate.
I moved a client site (andreamoreno.es) to a self-hosted solution and I observe that her stats has been split: wp.com does not show visits since the day I changed the nameserver DNS in the settings section and on the new site wp.org connected with jetpack shows the new visits, but not the previous ones.
Could you merge them so that they will show on jetpack widget in dashboard in the new site as well as in the wordpress.com site?
Thank you very much!

I don’t see your client’s self-hosted site connected to her WordPress.com site via the JetPack plugin. She’ll need to install the plugin in order for me to merge her stats.
Also, to confirm ownership, if she could post in this thread under her WordPress.com account, that’ll verify that I can proceed with the merge.
Thanks!

Hi! I’m the owner of andreamoreno.es
I just connected Jetpack with my account, thought I did already. Hoping to see the stats merged!!
Thanks for your support.

Hi there,
Thanks for posting! To confirm, you want me to merge the stats with http://www.makeup.proyektia.com? it is currently the only self-hosted site under your account. andreamoreno.es is under a different account than the one you are contacting me from.
Let me know, thanks!

Please, could you re-check now? I think the Jetpack module was still connected to the developer wordpress account, hence the staging enviroment you saw.
I now connected with Jetpack with my account and I think it should be solved.
Thank you very much for the support!

Hi Andrea,
Yes, now I see the domain and was able to merge the stats for you. You should be good to go!
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
-
Yes! I can see now my stats going back to 2013 on my new site dashboard.
Thank you very much Darnell!
