Hello, I recently transferred my site to self hosted wp.org site and would like to transfer my stats from the wp.com site I had for over two years. From reading other users questions, I found that I had to post here and admins from wp.com can do the transfer for me. Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you.

Hi @sfascha, we can do that. Would you double check your site settings first, though? What’s under settings > general for the site address / url?

Great! Thank you :) So I am a little bit confused because as of now, it is showing the WordPress.com site as alasusu.com and the jetpack connected site as 66.147.244.153/~alasusuc but when I actually go to alasusu.com, it takes me to my new site… Also, I have privatized my wordpress.com site, does it need to be public for you to transfer stats? Thanks again!

@sfascha it doesn’t need to be public. But it does need to have the right name on it.

If the site / url settings are right, can you disconnect and reconnect Jetpack? Let us know when that’s done.

Hello @supernovia!! Sorry for the late reply, but there was an issue with the site names and we just got it fixed through Bluehost. If we can get the stats transferred now, I would really appreciate it. I would like my stats from alasusu.wordpress.com transferred to alasusu.com. Thanks for your help!!

Hi @sfascha — we’re almost ready. Now that you’ve updated the setting at Bluehost, can you update it in Jetpack too? You can do that by disconnecting then reconnecting the site. Let me know when that’s done and I’ll make sure your stats are transferred properly. Cheers!

Hi, I have just transferred my wp.com site to a self hosted wp.org site and would like to transfer my stats from the wp.com site I have had for a number of years. I’ve been able to transfer my followers but not my stats. I have jetpack installed and activated. My old site is insideoutinistanbul.wordpress.com and my new one is insideoutinistanbul.com (with BlueHost).

I have checked my new wordpress.org site and all I can see on JetPack site stats are those for the last few days. Am I looking in the right place or do I need to do something else? Thanks.

Hi @goreme1990, hmm, no need to self-disparage. I’m not sure why that didn’t work the first time. I just did it again now and confirmed it went through this time, so you really are good to go.

Thanks very much supernovia. I can see all my stats in the Jetpack site stats now, it’s great! Is there any way I can have them show up when I get statistics through Google Analytics which I’ve also set up on my dashboard?
