I want to transfer subscribers from my wordpress.com site to my self-hosted wordpress site and was told to use this contact page. The wordpress.com site is anarchobuddy.wordpress.com, the self-hosted site is anarchobuddy.com. Can you help me with this?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

I moved over all your WordPress.com subscribers to anarchobuddy.com as requested. Please keep in mind that while your email subscribers will continue to receive email notifications of new posts as before, WordPress.com followers will only see new posts in the Reader. They will not receive email updates unless they subscribe to receive those on your new site.

    Happy blogging!

Thank you very much. I have another question, if you would be so kind in helping me find an answer.

I notice that for WordPress.com blogs, the “Follow Blog via Email” widget allows people signed into a WordPress.com account to simply hit the follow button. For the “Blog Subscription (Jetpack)” widget, it requires an email address. Is there a way to make it so that WordPress.com users can add it to their reader?

The Jetpack subscription form is for email subscriptions, but WordPress.com users can still add your blog to their Reader by using the steps listed here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/reader/#adding-new-blogs

I’m a bit confused about whether email subscribers for TheNewPolis.com were transferred or not when I pointed the domain from WordPress.com to a different host. Could you transfer them if they weren’t already?

Yep, all of your subscribers (email and WordPress.com) were transferred. You should be all set! :)
