Transfer the old media library into new blog's media library

  Hello,
  How can I transfer my old blog’s media library into my new blog’s media library? that I could have the photos of my old blog in my new blog. I can’t find the way to download the photos to my laptop.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi sharefoods,

  There are two options available to you.

  One is simply a case of opening each image and saving it directly.

  The other one is installing the WordPress.ORG software on your computer.

  Here is how you should proceed:
  Please go to Tools → Export in your WordPress.com dashboard to download an XML file of your blog’s content. http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/

  During the import process (if you are importing into either another wordpress.COM site, or a wordpress.ORG site), you are given the opportunity to have your attachments (images) imported at the same time.

  You could download the WordPress.ORG software then Export / Import your site and that should put the pictures referenced in the Posts and Pages onto your desktop. That way, you will be able to download all the images back to your computer.
