transfer theme

    Hello,
    I would like to change my theme, but i had my “white as milk” theme modified. When I tried to just change the theme to the Manifest theme, it did not really work so great.

    Is there a way to rest my original theme to default settings so that i may use the Manifest theme? Could there be a way to keep my image header for the new theme?

    Thank you

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    You simply go here > Appearance > Themes and select “White as Milk” again and then click “activate”.

    The header image in White as Milk is 940 in width and 200 in height. It’s uploaded here > Appearance > Header

    I’m sorry I was completely off base above. You have CSS edited the theme. CSS is theme specific. If you have custom CSS and later change themes, you need to delete whatever CSS you have in the Editor, otherwise, you’ll get undesired results.

    To ‘reset’ a theme, you need to delete the CSS in the Editor, make sure the “add to existing CSS” radio button is checked, then save. Things should go back to normal.

    When you alter a theme’s stylesheet, you only need to put in the Editor the modification/additions to the CSS, not the entire thing.

    I don’t need it there anymore.

    Please be patient and when the Volunteer who helps with CSS log-in he will help you.

    @fotiboulougaris, you can remove the top navigation in a couple different ways.

    First, you can create an empty custom menu and set it as primary on your Appearance → Menus page. See http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

    Or you can hide the top navigation in the Manifest theme with CSS like this:

    #main-nav {
    display: none;
    }
