Transfer to Godaddy, but site will not launch

    Hi all!
    I have transfered my domain to Godaddy, and createn a website in Godaddy.
    But before that I had a website here on WordPress, which I started to build but never launched.
    I made the transfer, unblocked the domain, constructed my new webpage in Godaddy, published it, but it will not appear, because seemingly, the domain is still somehow connected to the unpublished WordPress website – which i don’t need and I don’t like, so I don’t intend to ever publish.
    How can I remove the domain from this website, and have it free, for the other?
    Will deleting the unpublished wordpress site solve the problem?
    Thank You for your kind patience and answers, as I didn’t seem to find the exact same problem in the forums.
