Transfer to Hosting

  I am trying to transfer over this blog (http://newcomb.wordpress.com/) to my own hosting. I have done this previously with no problems with another blog but it allowed me to export the posts. The blog I am transferring now seems to have an older dashboard. How do I upgrade the version of WordPress so I can export the post. Currently this blog is hosted on WordPress.

  You can’t upgrade the version of WordPress used on WP.com blogs. We all use the same version. Check the Support section for details of how to export posts.
