Transfer to WordPress.org from WordPress.com – Image files
-
I am getting ready to transfer my existing wordpress.com site over to wordpress.org. When I export using the “all content” method is says the following:
“This will contain all of your posts, pages, comments, custom fields, terms, navigation menus, and custom posts.”
It does not say anything about “image files”. That is a HUGE portion of my existing site.
How can I transfer an existing website from wordpress.com to .org if it does note export the images? I have hundreds of images. This could be a daunting task. I am hoping the export grabs images as well. That would be “all” content.
I just wanted some clarification on this before I start the transfer to ,org.
Thanks for the help.

Well, I just exported and it certainly does not seem like it exported images since the entire .zip file is 456k. LOL. So what do I do? This is useless if I don’t have all my images. What good is exporting if it does not grab all the images? I have a recipe site and images if 50% or more of the content.
