Transfer WordPress subscribers to wordpress.org

  From reading the forums, I’m under the impression that you can transfer my blog subscribers from my wordpress.com site to my self hosted site?
  It is jessewaltersblog.wordpress.com and is moving to jesse-walters.com.

  I’ve moved a total of 38 followers from your WordPress.com site (jessewaltersblog.wordpress.com) to your self-hosted, Jetpack-connected site (jesse-walters.com).

  Breakdown of your followers:
  WP.com Subscribers: 12
  EMail Subscribers: 26

  Please note that it can take several hours for the subscriber list and totals for your site to be updated, especially if you have many subscribers.
