Transfer wordpress.com problems
-
I set up my blog via wordpress.com and was then advised I should set up hosting through bluehost. Needless to say I discovered I should have done it through wordpress.org rather than .com or just directly through the one click bluehost installation. However I can’t now access my admin page for the .org/bluehost page to install plugins etc because it routes me to my admin page for the .com page (no plugins etc etc). How do I either access my wordpress.org admin page directly or disconnect my wordpress.com site so I can access both admin pages separately. My domain is jasminewoods.net
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Does this step-by-step Support doc help? https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-to-a-self-hosted-wordpress-site/
I don’t know when or where you registered your custom domain, but you’ll also need to update your nameservers to point to your new website. https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/

Thanks @justjennifer – it does – I think however that my problem may be simply my wordpress.com account domain which I purchased on top of the .wordpress.com url at the time of setting up wordpress.com cannot be transferred to bluehost until 60 days? That seems strange, it was a mistake that wordpress could make clearer in the difference between .com and .org wordpress sites in the first place. I don’t want to wait 60 days however only to find out I could have done something at this stage…..

That seems strange
The 60-day no-transfer rule is one that ICANN makes, not WPcom.
All that means for you is that if you recently purchased your domain from WordPressdotcom until that 60-day period is over you’ll simply point your domain to your self-hosted site by changing the nameservers in the Domain Dashboard here. It is explained in the Support docs I linked to earlier.
