Transfer WP.com site, upgrade, two domains to another WP.com user

I have followed instructions on this page “https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/view-all/” to transfer a site including upgrade and two domains from my account to another user. I did this on Thursday, 9/4 and on Friday morning, 9/6, I received the expected email with questions about whether I wanted to keep or transfer the upgrades and domains. I replied to this email on Friday, 9/6, but it has now been over 48 hours since I did this and I have heard nothing nor has anything been transferred. I would appreciate if you could tell me whether this is a normal time frame for this sort of transfer which includes domains (for instance is support only available 9-5 M-F) and how long I might expect to wait for transfer, or if there is something else that I should be doing to expedite this transfer. Thank you for your help. The person on the other end is anxious to take over ownership of the site. Anything you can tell me will be helpful.

Ooops, sorry, date correction – I transferred on Thursday, 9/3, and received and returned an email from WordPress on Friday morning 9/4. It is now Sunday, 9/6.
