Transfer your domain to WordPress – benefits?

  Hi, at our business we want to go from Joomla to WordPress to get more freedom to develop and evolve our site, but we have a few questions.

  – Are there any benefits from transferring the domain to WordPress???
  – We also plan a customer’s log-in feature in the future, which template provides this or is this a simple plug-in feature?
