Transfering A Blog Address

Recently tried changing my blog address but became aware that it was already registered. However the author no longer is using it. I’m looking to contact the owner of the registered blog address to see if they’ll transfer it to me. The address is watercoolertalk.wordpress.com. Not sure how to go about contacting them. Would love if someone could help me.

Your only hope is that there is some form of contact info posted, or maybe a contact form. Maybe leave a comment on a post if possible.
WP won’t intervene.

All it says is that its taken, then when I insert the URL it says that the author has deleted the blog. Nothing else. Im guessing Im at a dead end.
