Transfering a blog to a new user does not work, any idea why?

Following the support description I have clicked the “transfer blog” button on the blog’s dashboard a few times already, and received the red warning. but then I never receive the announced confirmation email and so the transfer never goes through.
Does anyone have an idea?

I understand you looking for the email, correct? Have you checked your SPAM or social/promotion/forum/update tags in your email?
